Target Audience:
The training is suitable for any professional who may encounter domestic abuse victims/survivors including children, and perpetrators in their day-to-day work.
Aim:
Strengthening partnership working arrangements through a consistent approach shared language and understanding of risk.
Learning Outcomes:
Provides skills-based training and tools for professionals working with victims, families, and perpetrators that:
✓ increase accountability for perpetrators,
✓ reduce victim-blaming,
✓ improve outcomes for victims, children, and families.
The model uses a perpetrator pattern-based approach and places the safety and wellbeing of victims/survivors and
children at its centre.
Further Details:
All Core training is delivered across 4 mandatory sessions 1 session per day ALL of which need to be attended. You will only need to book on to the first session and you will be added to the other 3 by KSCP.
Please seek managers approval to ensure you can attend all 4 days as places are limited.

Venue Details:
There is no parking on site at Brian Jackson House. Delegates will need to find their own parking for the duration of the training. Moving your car during the training will not be accepted.
As a suggestion, all day paid parking is available at Huddersfield Bus Station (5 minute walk from Brian Jackson). Other parking options will need to be identified by the delegate.
Late arrival to the training will not be accepted so please research available parking and the location of Brian Jackson House prior to the day of the training.
