Detail:

We’ve already started to make changes, but this is your opportunity to get involved.

Come and join us for the Children’s and young people’s emotional wellbeing summit

This exciting event will bring services and organisations together who have an interest and involvement with children and young people’s emotional wellbeing. We value your opinion, and this will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to contribute, share knowledge and experiences on how we feel we can improve and support our children’s emotional wellbeing and achieve the council’s vision. Help us create the ‘best fit’ for you and our children and young people.

We’d love to hear your voice – so book your place!

This event will include:

  • an introduction from senior leaders in the council
  • a presentation about what we mean by emotional wellbeing
  • information about what support is available
  • results from the recent year 9 survey
  • young people’s experiences

There will also be an opportunity for you to have your say if there is a need for an emotional wellbeing partnership, and if so what should be its:

  • vision
  • priorities
  • membership
  • frequency of meetings

Council vision: “I care for the place I live and the people that live there”
