Aim
To explain the purpose of Prevent, the process of radicalisation, how to identify when someone may be susceptible to radicalisation, how to raise concerns and what support looks like in Kirklees.
Target audience
Frontline staff, including police, social services, probation, education, health staff and local communities.
Description
Advanced Prevent Awareness Training is an interactive, facilitated workshop centred on a package of video content. The workshop provides an introduction to Prevent and has been developed to raise awareness of and explain Prevent within the wider safeguarding context.
