Aim
- To establish knowledge and understanding around what Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) are as well as a brief overview of Alternative Tobacco/Nicotine Products, why they are attractive to young people, harms related to use and how to support young people who are using ENDS .
Objective
- 1. Identify what Nicotine is, how it affects the body and signs of addiction to Nicotine
- 2. Identify the variety of vaping products available and the relative risk of vaping products.
- 3. State the laws relating to vaping products.
- 4. Identify reasons why young people may vape.
- 5. Identify risks and harms associated with both legal and illegal vaping products.
- 6. Discuss ways to support young people who are using nicotine products.
- 7. Discuss current popular Alternative Tobacco/Nicotine Products.

- Anyone in a role that encounters young people.
