Cuckooing is a practice where people take over the home of another person, often to use the property for criminal purpose or facilitate the exploitation of another person. It is a practice which is prevalent across the UK, including Kirklees and West Yorkshire.

During this workshop we will describe what cuckooing is and the different types. We will look at who might be most at risk of cuckooing and why, alongside who the perpetrators might be. The signs and indicators of cuckooing will be discussed and importantly, what to do if you have any concerns or suspicion that someone is a victim of cuckooing.

This interactive workshop will include a presentation, videos, discussion, and group exercises.
