Using the DASH - Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Harassment risk indicator checklist

Target Audience: 

Anyone working in Kirklees who wants to find out more about local processes for responding to high risk domestic abuse cases. This briefing is suitable for any Kirklees professional who may encounter domestic abuse victims/survivors including children, and perpetrators of domestic abuse in their day-to-day work.

We would expect that attendees have at least a basic awareness of domestic abuse and its impact on victims. 

Outcomes

  • Develop an understanding of the MARAC process.
  • Develop an understanding of the DRAMM process.
  • Learn how to use the DASH risk assessment.
  • Know when, and how, to complete a MARAC referral.

The briefings are on Teams and will last 2 hours. We aim to leave time at the end of the briefing for discussions and to answer questions.
