The training is being Delivered by Paul Jones, Force Human Trafficking Training & Partnerships Officer, West Yorkshire Police.
The aim of the training is to provide frontline staff with the knowledge and understanding you need around Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
The training covers:

•        Force Human Trafficking Team
•        The Modern Day Slavery Act.
•        Facts and Figures.
•        What is Modern Day Slavery & Human Trafficking.
•        Victim - Signs and Indicators.
•        Case Studies / Scenarios
•        The National Referral Mechanism (NRM)
•        How to report your concerns.
•        Questions / Discussion.

The learning outcomes are:
By the end of this session, delegates will be able to.

•        Describe what Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking is, including the relevant offences
•        State the signs & Indicators of MS/HT
•        Explain the NRM & it’s purpose and the frontline workers role within the process.
•        Complete the relevant referral forms  / follow your internal reporting process. State where the relevant forms can be located.
•        List basic intelligence requirements
