Target Audience:
Anyone working in Kirklees who want to find out more about local processes for responding to high risk domestic abuse cases.
We would expect that attendees have at least a basic awareness of domestic abuse and its impact on victims.
Aim:
The session will give information and provide opportunities for questions.
Learning Outcomes, by the end of the course the participants will be able to:
- Assess risk in domestic abuse cases
- Understand professional responsibilities to report serious safeguarding concerns
- Make referrals into DRAMM-MARAC
- Understand how the DRAMM-MARAC assesses risk, implements safety plans and provides feedback to victims and professionals
