This course is designed specifically for the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in school or for any member of staff who is deputising in the role.
Aim
• To refresh and update your knowledge and skills to enable you to carry out your role as DSL effectively.

Objectives:
• Understand your role and responsibilities as DSL and those of other school staff;
• To return to your establishment with a checklist to use to ensure you are safeguarding your children effectively and can evidence that.

Cost: £80 per person (charged on completion of training) for trading schools. £105 per person for non-trading establishments. Refreshments and lunch are NOT included.
