Target Audience: Any member of staff who works in the area and has contact with children or the carers of children
Course Objectives:
- Explore the impact of mental health problems on parenting capacity to respond to the developmental needs of children
- Provide an understanding of how symptoms and medication might impact on parenting capacity
- To understand the process of assessing risk to children
- To improve multiagency collaboration, assessment and interventions to support parents and their children
Description of Course: A virtual package that consider the impact of a variety of mental illness on Children at various ages and stages of development. Includes video clips and scenarios.
