- Understand the structure of Kirklees’s Children’s Social Care referral team – Duty & Advice and partner agencies.
- Understand how to respond to concerns about the safety and welfare of children and know who to report to and when.
- Understand what the process is for reporting your concerns and recording your observations.
- Understand the difference between Child Protection and Early Support.
- Understand your responsibilities around sharing concerns and requesting support – including Children with Disabilities.
- Improving partnership working between Health and Social Work, working together to safeguard children.
- Time for questions and an opportunity to meet members of the team
